Facilities & Rental Information

Panhandle is a complete facility for retreats, camping, natural resource education and of course relaxation and fun. We accommodate large and small groups.

The Lodge:

The newly remodeled 10,000 square foot rustic lodge is handicap accessible and houses the following: stage, fireplace, office, craft/breakout rooms, meeting room, small kitchen, nurses quarters, balcony and dorm rooms with toilet facilities and showers, outdoor picnic shelter with BBQ pits

This is one of the camp's outdoor gathering places.....has a nice view.

 

Boats & Water Play:

  Canoes and paddle boats are available to explore the lake. There are separate docks for boats and swimming areas. A lakeside changing, toilet and shower facility is available.

 

Fishing & Swimming Docks:

 

Fishing: Dock with available canoes & paddle boats.

  

Swimming: Dock is new and arranged for safety & large groups.

Sleeping Accommodations:

         

• Dormitory: Men's and women's sleeping quarters are available for up to 100 people. There is an adjoining conference room, showers and bathrooms.
• Cabins: Twenty-one Adirondack style cabins, scattered throughout the nearby wooded area, are ideal for groups of up to 12 campers in each cabin. Together these cabins can sleep up to 252 people comfortably.

Dining Hall & Kitchen: 

    

The dining halls accommodates 250 family style diners. The lodge boasts a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Dining services are provided by the renter or catering can be arranged. Bar-B-Q grills/Picnic Areas are available behind the main kitchen.

 

Livestock Facilities:

Thirty eight 12' x 12' stalls are available in our new 8,000 square foot barn. There is a warm up arena.Thanks to 4-H community volunteers the old 90' x 190' outdoor arena has been expanded to 200' by 135'. It's complete with bleacher seating. Also, five miles of trails are in place for many types of animals.

 

 

 

 

Large Field for Many Activities:

This field may be used for many things with camp permission.
